Splitting the Heavens

Chapter 1433: World Establishment Art Pt.2

It might be his first time unleashing his World Establishment Art, but he had already run through it in his mind countless times.

When he entered the region of chaotic space around the Spirit Luxuriant World several days ago, he had already been storing up his power. He had been running through the way he would unleash the World Establishment Art and he managed to do it in his peak state.

In the chaotic streams, a long narrow region of calm space was created. The space that was contained within was so still that it looked like a lake without the slightest ripple.

From the looks of it, he succeeded on his first try!

However, after some time, the look of joy on Shang Xia’s face vanished. Powerful spatial folds appeared outside and it started to push against whatever he created. It looked like it would crumble the next moment.

Everything happened so quickly that he didn’t even have tiem to unleash his World Establishment Art again to reinforce the stability of the space he made.

Helpless, Shang Xia was about to conclude the attempt as a failure when he suddenly thought of something and tossed his Heaven Supporting Jade Pillar into the narrow strip of space.

With its entry, everything started to calm down once again and the spatial folds that were pushing against it disappeared.

Did it succeed?

Shang Xia thought to himself as he moved and appeared within the narrow strip of space he carved out.

When he arrived, he discovered that even though the region looked peaceful, he felt a sense of suppression despite his powerful divine soul.

Shaking his head slowly, Shang Xia realized that if he felt that way, other True Immortals would definitely feel an even stronger pressure. They wouldn’t be able to stay in the region of space for long and that was also if he referred to True Immortals! If cultivators who weren’t True Immortals were to enter the region of space, they would lose their minds!

Shang Xia knew that even though it looked like he managed to create a separate region of space, the attempt was still a failure.

There was also no need to mention how small the space was. It could barely be made into a Mysterious World and there was no need to think of transforming it into a Holy Land.

The space it contained was also too fragile and even with the Stone Rod, it wouldn’t last for a long time.

The Stone Rod Shang Xia used was a Heaven Supporting Jade Pillar, and for such a weak space to require a Heaven Supporting Jade Pillar, there was no way it could grow any stronger.

Sighing helplessly, Shang Xia retrieved his weapon and left the region of space he created.

Staring at it, he saw how it crumbled and a void vortex formed. In an instant, everything around it experienced violent flutuations and even he had to leave the regon of space because of how chaotic it was.

He continued to fly towards the Star Curtain.

Along the way, he continued to think about his World Establishment Art and thought about ways to improve it.

After concluding all the mistakes he made and thinking of new ways to improve, Shang Xia started to store energy in order to unleash his World Establishment Art again. His second try couldn’t even be compared to the first. Even before he could throw his Stone Rod into the region of space to stabilize it, it crumbled.

Surprisingly, he wasn’t too irritated by the failure. He seemed to have learned something from it as he managed to verify whatever he did wrong in the past. At the very least, he had a better idea on how to continue.

After traveling for another day, Shang Xia unleashed his World Establishment Art for the third time.

This time, the region of space he created was much smaller. However, it looked a lot more sturdy. Even without the Stone Rod, the region of space existed for a much longer time before crumbling.

Shang Xia knew he was moving in the right direction and set his mind on comprehending his World Establishment Art.

As more time passed, Shang Xia felt that he gained a better understanding of his new secret art and he stopped once again.

After storing up his energy and restoring his lost inner qi, he swung his Stone Rod once again.

This time, he cleaved out another portion of space in the void, but he didn’t use the Stone Rod to stabilize the space it contained.

A peaceful region of space was created in the chaotic streams and the size far surpassed his first attempt. However, it still cannot be compared to the space required for a Holy Land.

Shang Xia stared at the peaceful region while holding the Stone Rod in his hand.

As time slowly ticked by, eventually, the time taken to burn 2 sticks of incense passed.

The space within started to transform, but it didn’t immediately crumble. Instead, it started to shrink as the chaotic streams slammed against it from outside.

It kept on shrinking but didn’t show signs of collapse!

Shang Xia was much more interested in the region of space that didn’t collapse instead of its size. From how long it lasted, he could tell how stable the space inside was.

One had to know that Shang Xia was using his World Establishment Art in the chaotic streams. It was much more difficult and dangerous than creating it in more peaceful regions around the other worlds.

If he was able to maintain the region of space for such a long time, that would mean that when he used it in other places, the region of separate space he created would last for a much longer time and the space it contained would be much more stable!

At the very least, if the Tongyou Institution wanted to build another Holy Land, Shang Xia was sure he would be able to create a region of space large enough to contain it back in the Spirit Luxuriant World. If it was properly reinforced, a powerful Holy Land would be created with much less effort than what the Tongyou Institution did in the past.

However, if he really wanted to create the space required for an Elysium… Shang Xia still had a long way to go!

Regardless, Shang Xia could consider the initial comprehension of the World Establishment Art a success.
