*Sizzle!~* *Sizzle!~*
The ball of flames surged forward through the skies, leaving behind countless holes in the system of clouds. It appeared like a malevolent comet shooting across the skies. Wherever it went, a tremendous heat wave would spread and cause the skies to darken.
Its purple-black apocalyptic flames were constantly shed as it raced toward the distant horizon. They descended, screeching the air and space, and set ablaze an entire forest, mountain ranges, or even a wide river. The flames didn't die down even when it fell on water. They continuously burned the water, evaporating it.
Only after the ball of flames up in the skies crossed millions of kilometers did these purple-black apocalyptic flames die down. Until then, they appeared like they were burning endlessly without any fuel in store.
*Sizzzz!~*
The ball of flames flickered ever so lightly as it entered a windy region again. The tumultuous winds barely managed to snuff out the purple-black flames before they surged with a fiery momentum, even burning the wind in its wild inferno. The constant flux of appearing to be almost snuffed out but roaring with an incredible amount of flames revealed the person inside.
It was a spirit, an apocalyptic flame spirit, a female one to be exact.
Adorned with a golden crown, her purple hair danced within the sea of flames. Her crimson-golden eyes appeared as though she was from the depths of a bloody battlefield. Her purple skin shone with terrifying purple-black flames. It made her look as though she was from the Nether Dimension, but she was a genuine flame spirit born from the fusion of heavenly flame and apocalyptic flames.
The shockwaves she unleashed were that of terrifying Empyrean undulations. The calamitous aura she was releasing only made the terror simply unable to be endured. Any lifeform that sensed her aura below or in the skies rapidly fled.
It didn't matter if they had lived long there or declared it as their absolute territory that they would defend to the death. The moment the apocalyptic aura descended, their scalps turned numb, and they couldn't control their wild instincts, which caused them to flee without looking back."Sense it… I can sense it…"
Calypsea's lips moved as a melodious voice emerged. She looked into the distance as a vague calling emerged in her mind. It was something that she always suppressed because her two masters had always told her not to cause destruction. But this time around, before she left and hid in the flying ship, Lea sat her down and told her to do as she pleased if it came to a point where her team was in mortal danger.
Lea said if an existence she couldn't defeat stood before them, her team would let her know what to do.

As Fenren called upon her and told her to do her thing, she knew what to do.
She had to burn the realm core and cause the destruction of this realm. Even without someone saying it, she craved it herself. Her heart was pounding in passion as she licked her lips. She felt like she was doing something bad, but that made her feel all the more excited.
*Bzzz!~*
She unleashed her full power, releasing more apocalyptic flames into the wilderness. Even the terrifying wind regions in this place that could easily stop Early Stage Empyreans from traversing were unable to stop her.
The Infernal Haze Retribution Cloud Core was a massive boon for her, allowing Calypsea to step into the Level One Empyrean Stage with ease and even make it to the Level Two Empyrean Stage. After all, it was at the very least in the peak of the Early Empyrean Stage. Its core was a sumptuous feast for her. It was the absolute best she had ever eaten. It practically melted in her mouth and allowed her cultivation to soar.
"Stop!"
In the distance behind, Realm Master Thousand Windblades finally caught up. He used the power of the terrifying speed of Wind Laws and additionally used some kind of escape technique to catch up to it as there was blood energy revolving around him. Ꞧ₳ɴꝊʙΕS
That was a side effect of using blood essence. It could be commonly seen when one uses a sacrificial technique to strengthen oneself.
Still, he could barely keep up with the explosive speed of the purple-black ball of flames in front of him.
He directly attacked.
*Rumble!~*
The heaven and earth changed colors, and a terrifying aura swept through the skies.
"Verdant Wind Barrage!"
A storm of crimson-green wind blades materialized in the air, their edges glowing with a sharp and radiant energy. Each blade was infused with the aura of extinction, crackling with a destructive essence that could slice through mountains. The wind blades shot forward in a torrent, a relentless wave that carved through the atmosphere and space, aiming to pierce the ball of apocalyptic flames.
The wind blades sliced through the fiery tempest, their extinction energy clashing with the purple-black fire. The initial impact created an explosion of energy, scattering sparks and embers into the air. For a moment, it seemed the technique had some effect as the apocalyptic flames recoiled slightly, their movement disrupted. But within seconds, the flames consumed the wind blades, their energy dissipating into the raging inferno of apocalyptic flames.
Realm Master Thousand Windblades' expression changed.
He couldn't believe a Divine Technique that brought his power to the brim didn't have much of an effect on this apocalyptic spirit.
However, he didn't stop. He gathered more and more energy in his meridians, circulating them and bringing them to the tip of his fingers.
"Ten Thousand Searing Winds!"
He slashed with all ten fingers. The ten slashes multiplied to a hundred and to a thousand and ten thousand within a second.
The air around him grew oppressively hot as he condensed his energy into ten thousand searing gusts of crimson-green wind. These winds burned with an intensity that rivaled the heart of a volcano, their heat scorching the ground as they spiraled together into a massive vortex.
The vortex surged forward, colliding with the apocalyptic flames in a dazzling display of a terrifying clash. The searing winds wrapped around the flames and even its path, seeking to extinguish their destructive energy and stop it in its tracks. The clash of forces sent shockwaves rippling across the region, uprooting trees and reducing nearby mountains to rubble.
Yet, the apocalyptic flames easily resisted it, their purple-black flames continuing to burn brighter and hotter. The searing winds began to falter as their windblade bodies faded, their energy consumed and absorbed by the unrelenting inferno of the apocalyptic flames.
"Celestial Wind Tempest!"
Realm Master Thousand Windblades was undeterred. He unleashed another technique, sending Divine Technique after another, but suddenly, the ball of flames disappeared into a spatial tear.
"What!?"
Calypsea ripped open space and directly appeared four hundred billion kilometers away. She traveled through the void where spatial storms were present, not fearing any spatial blade or tempest that hindered her.
"…!"
Lereza, who was far away and unable to compare to Calypsea or Realm Master Thousand Windblades in speed, turned shocked. She couldn't believe Calypsea would be so daring as to traverse the spatial storms. She almost thought it was over, but when she looked into that spatial storm within the tear, she could see Calypsea stepping out of the tear on the other side, causing her to heave a heavy sigh of relief.
Any life-fearing lifeform wouldn't try that for fear of getting ripped to shreds, so only stable spatial paths were used for the most part, but cutting through the layers of space and traversing through the dangerous void was no different than courting death a hundred times.
When Calypsea stepped out of the spatial tear, she stood above a vast city.
It seemed that it was quite close to the edge where they had come from compared to where they needed to go in order to get out of this realm and reach the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm.
"There it is…"
She looked down on this city with cold, gleaming eyes and saw the powerful barrier. She could sense a pulsating object beyond the barrier and the surface, far underground. It rumbled crazily in reaction to her presence.
It was almost like they both shared a karmic connection with how she could sense its presence from a vast distance and vice versa. She could tell that it was fearing its impending doom.
