Their personal thoughts couldn't be simply revealed, and they had to maintain a facade of going with the flow or be met with extreme punishment. After all, they were already forgiven by the Supreme One, so if they were caught in one more blunder, they would be done.
The Heaven's Warriors wouldn't need to personally descend. Just the Starshard Luminous Wolf Clan would receive a mandate from the Divine Sentinel Order, and they would descend to strip the Verlight Clan of their dignity and authority, causing them to fall into slavery at the very least if it wasn't death.
They would also get a mandate to not resist. At that point, it was literally over for them.
In the history of the Lower Realms, they had seen it happen many times when some major or minor power got too comfortable and decided to join forces with Divergents or other calamitous entities from other Dimensions for more power.
"You…" Fenren's smile faded, "You do have a brain in you."
"Is that supposed to be an insult?" Matriarch Leora Verlight asked coldly.
"No, you're smart, and I'm also glad that you're lucky. You wouldn't want to offend us, or it would result in the same fate as betraying the Heaven's Warriors- no, even worse. If you don't believe me, that's fine, but we aren't playing anymore. We will end a realm if anyone dares to offend us."
"Unfortunately, since we met, I need to give chase. Forgive me for being ruthless."
Matriarch Leora Verlight suddenly attacked. Her dainty hand swung, and her sleeves swayed with the wind. She extended her finger, and a ray of jade light shot towards the space. The ray of jade light suddenly turned into a rope, intending to capture Fenren.
At this moment, Lereza made a move. She also waved her hand simultaneously and summoned a vine. The vine and ray of jade light clashed and deviated the trajectory, causing them to wrap around each other.
"…!"
Matriarch Leora Verlight's heart pounded. Her expression greatly sank as she gazed at Lereza, whom she didn't put in her eyes because she was just a Level One Empyrean, but this same Level One Empyrean managed to catch her ray of jade light that could even pierce through a Level Nine Empyrean if she willed it.
She tried to cut through the vine but couldn't. It was tied around firmly over her jade light and refused to be cut. This meant that the pink-robed woman on the ship possessed a prowess that was nine levels higher! It was simply unbelievable on the Empyrean Stage!
Was the pink-robed woman faking her cultivation? Was this an illusion!? Her gaze shook as she recalled that rabbit who seemingly also fought with the Ghostly Crow Realm Master as a Level One Empyrean Beast.
Of course, Matriarch Leora Verlight was aware she was stronger than the young Ghostly Crow Realm Master. Her cultivation base was at Level Six Autarch Stage, and her prowess was five levels higher, her own prowess two levels and the realm aiding with three more levels.
She could be considered a genius but the reason she managed to become a Matriarch was thanks to her smartness and sense of danger, which gave her an edge in the trials. Her mind was now yelling at her not to mess with these people since their forces seemed to be endless and mysterious.
Although the Ghostly Crow Realm Master also reported a woman who could use vines, he didn't report her to be this strong.
"Last warning." Fenren's expression turned cold, "If you wish to block us, pay with your realm!"
He growled, his voice filled with the aura of a king, making them all shudder. Even Matriarch Leora Verlight couldn't stop her heart from trembling.
Lereza's lips curled ever so lightly as she flicked her finger. The vine wrapped around the ray of jade light retreated as it cut down the rope. The thorny vine with sharp tendrils jutting out from its sides made it back to her before it dissolved into thin air.
"We're both not using our full power, but that's good. If you wish to continue, then this realm will no longer exist. Think carefully before you make your next move." Lereza warned with a soft voice.
Her attitude was as though she didn't care if it was either way.
Matriarch Leora Verlight's pupils shook, "Fenren, you're making a mistake. Return to the clan. I look favorably upon you. An existence like you would be welcomed anywhere within the Starshard Luminous Wolf Clan, much less the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan! We will do everything in our power to earn you a pardon. The Heaven's Warriors won't punish you~"
"…"
Fenren could only wryly smile. If the Starshard Luminous Wolf Clan actually knew that he could use light energy with life property, then they would go crazy to obtain him. His opportunities would be endless, and the number of women fawning at him would be no less than a million at the smallest estimate.
After all, he would be considered a true Saint at that point. Although that's not a title given to a magical beast, if he could use Life Laws, then that meant he was going to be favored by the majority of the population.
As for him being a Divergent Beast, Davis already told him that divergence would be cleared once he broke through the Empyrean Beast Stage.
After all, he didn't absorb something like heavenly lightning or other heavenly factors. His variance with life energy was something solely created by Davis's ingenuity.
Fenren chuckled, "Unfortunately, my fate was decided when the clan didn't initially protect me with all their ability. This life of mine now solely exists to protect my family and follow a great friend and a leader who could potentially change the world for the better or to our liking!"
He spread his hands, his kingly aura erupting with a sacred radiance of starshard gold-white light.
Matriarch Leora Verlight was nearly mesmerized as she gazed at him.
She couldn't move a finger. She didn't know what she was feeling. Was it admiration or jealousy for him to be able to break the shackles of fate and follow his mind with absolute certainty?
However, how could following an evil entity be any good? She couldn't wrap her head around this notion.
"Warp off," Fenren commanded.
In the next few moments, their flying ship rumbled and broke through space, leaving behind Matriarch Leora Verlight and the Grand Elders looking at the vortex closing at them. They couldn't give chase on their own and needed to enter their flying ship in order to follow long distances, but seeing their Matriarch appear to be at a loss for words, they didn't say anything unwarranted either.
After all, the threat was not their lives but apparently the end of their realm. Although they had no idea how they could possibly achieve it, that was not something they could play with. They didn't doubt the Divine Emperor of Death's ability to go through with his words. He made the impossible quite possible in their minds.
"Did you all notice that the other four in that group were all Grand Saint Magical Beasts?" Suddenly, Matriarch Leora Verlight asked.
"What!?" The Grand Elders were stunned.
"Although they were hiding well by concealing their aura and cultivation, they couldn't escape my perception. One of them was a Void Piercer Rat! There was no way we could stop them if that rat's prowess is the same as that pink-robed spirit-fey..."
"…!"
The Grand Elders were all shaken again. They had totally forgotten about those four other people who remained absolutely unfazed. If one of them was really a Void Piercer Rat and possessed a prowess similar to that spirit-fey, then they could really forget about catching them.
In the same minor stage, it was impossible to catch a Void Piercer Rat!
Fortunately, they now had a valid reason for letting these people go and could excuse themselves from whatever the Heaven's Warriors were going to ask them. At least they had information to share.
Matriarch Leora Verlight squinted her brows heavily. She couldn't wrap her head around why and how these people were getting ridiculously stronger.
Sometime later, Fenren and the others eventually made it out of the Starlight Jade Lower Realm.
However, they quickly met with resistance in the next realm. The annoying thing was that it wasn't the Heaven's Warriors but the Realm Master of the Verdant Vale Lower Realm, the master of the Verdant Vale Sect where a lot of wind cultivators, wind-attributed magical beasts, and spirits gathered.
